While you are working hard to make an honest living, there is at least one person (realistically more like several) working just as hard trying to steal your money, or worse, your identity. Going online to check your bank account only to find money missing from charges you did not make is absolutely horrifying and makes you feel extremely violated. While you may be thinking, oh that won’t happen to me, please do not be foolish. It can happen to anyone, at any time, but there are some things you can do to make yourself more secure online and off.
As Virtual Assistants and business owners, I ask you to take a moment to think about the steps you are currently taking to ensure your security and that of your clients.
